When it is about surgeries anesthesia is inevitable. With it, the opportunities range from local anesthesations up to narcosis. In the ARTICO Sports Clinic, the entire range of the anesthetic spectrum is offered by the experienced specialists Dr med Christoph Dyballa and Dr med Karlheinz Kohlmann. With it, anesthesia is more than merely producing insensitiveness. The ARTICO Sports Clinic offers comprehensive care from the optimal preparation for the surgery to complete monitoring during the surgery to attention during the anesthetic recovery phase. Only well-tolerated and gentle drugs are used which normally do not cause vomiting after waking up and which ensure quick convalescence. In the ARTICO Sports Clinic, you can be sure that in terms of the subject of anesthesia the motto is “as much as necessary – as few as possible”. - With local anesthetics, only a little sector of the body is made insensitive, mostly by giving an injection into the region concerned. - With regional anesthetics, sensitiveness covers a larger section of the body, with the patient being awake or dozily relaxed. The technical terms are, for instance, plexus anesthesia, femoralis block (3 in 1 blockade), foot block, IV regional anesthetics or spinal anaesthetics. - General anesthetics are colloquially also called „full narcosis“. During the process, the patient is put into a deep sleep condition. The correct anesthetic measure required will be discussed with you in detail. |
